Whether used for writing emails, holding meetings or negotiating multi-billion dollar deals, mastery of English communication skills is one of the most important competencies you can acquire to boost your success.

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, Warren Stanworth, the Academic Dean, is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to the new students as they embark on their journey in the Global Hospitality Management programme at AIHM.

Climate change impacts every industry. In the hospitality industry, this is powerfully true. We host our guests in some of the world’s most beautiful environments. Amidst such amazing backdrops, it’s hard to not consider the effects the travel and hotel business play in the big picture.

This coming week we welcome a new cohort of students for their very first semester of AIHM’s Bachelor Business Administration in Global Hospitality Management. As always, this is one of my favourite times of the year. If you are one of the new members of our community, I want you to know how special this week is for all of us. Your passion, your vision and your potential to transform the hospitality field inspire us. As we embark on this journey together, I’d like to share with you and our other readers, the ‘why’ behind AIHM, the deeply held beliefs that drive everything we do.

As April unfolds in South East Asia, temperatures rise and water splashing celebrations take over the streets. For much of South East Asia, mid-April marks the traditional New Year’s Festival.

AIHM thrives by attracting a student body filled with the most passionate aspiring hoteliers from around the world. We provide an intimate learning environment where students work closely with faculty who share their intense passion.

Your heart is beating fast. You’re starting to sweat. You feel the anxiety slipping in. Your nerves are going into overdrive. Your boss has just invited you to a fancy event, and part of you is excited, but the other part is wrestling with a nervous panic.
