AIHM’s Executive Education short courses in professional development provide industry professionals the opportunity to upskill, to upgrade their knowledge and to put practical new tools and techniques into action as soon as they complete a two-day course. Taught by guest experts and AIHM’s own passionate faculty, our Executive Education courses tackle the most important topics and talents required to succeed in today’s hospitality industry and in fields beyond.

As a member of the first cohort of the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management in Academic Association with Les Roches, I’ve been able to benefit from a wealth of opportunities during my studies here. Soon after joining the institute, I participated in the PHIST conference, an initiative dedicated to sustainable tourism development hosted by the Phuket Hotel Association along with other industry partners.

AIHM is home to students from all over the world. We’re a small school where we all get to know each other. Despite our small size, we have students from over ten different cultures and nationalities. Of course, there are many students from Thailand, but a lot of us come from across the region and all around the world.

AIHM’s hospitality management curriculum takes students on an exhilarating journey. One of its highlights: the Practical Arts semester. A hands-on exploration of hotel operations, the Practical Arts course invites students to experience a variety of hotel areas from the work of the baristas to housekeeping to events management studies.

Some people you meet radiate energy and inspiration. They have a smile that’s contagious. They walk in a room, and it instantly brightens. Samantha Lauver-Marion, AIHM’s Head of Student Engagement, is a shining example!
