That’s how AIHM student Maya Mariyam described her final Integrated Hospitality Project (IHP) experience at AIHM. It’s a sentiment echoed by many who’ve taken part in this ambitious, real-world learning series. From their third semester onwards, students step into the industry and take on consulting projects for real clients, with real stakes, and real impact.

At AIHM, we believe in learning by doing—and we mean it. All the industry expertise students learn inside the classroom fuels their future success, but that’s just one part of the equation. In addition to their academic studies, AIHM students gain and grow real-world skills through a focus on internships, practical arts coursesandleadership opportunities. During their growth period with us, our students dive into active learning experiences that challenge them to grow as individuals and as teammates.

This term, our fourth-semester BBA students stepped out of the classroom and into the action with a high-energy day of challenges designed by the team building pros at Beunite. Teams joined minds in exciting games designed to test memory, strategy, communication and grit.

What started as a few name tags and nervous giggles quickly became a battle of brains, balance and bandanas. Here’s how it all went down…

The luxurious riverside property in the heart of Bangkok is an exceptional hotel in a market filled with exceptional hotels. Over the past several weeks, we’ve been discussing key insights that have emerged from the AIHM Employer Forum and related research. Insights from the Next Generation of Young Leaders

In this series on the lessons learned from the AIHM Employer Forum 2024, we’ve already covered two of the biggest motivating factors for the next generation of young leaders: an embrace of Individuality and Value-alignment. The emerging generation seek employers who recognise strength in diversity and support them in uniting their individual talents and identities with company visions. More than ever before, new graduates are focused on the values of the brands they’re exploring as potential employers, and they are specifically looking for brands whose values and worldviews align with their own.
