We’ll begin by ensuring that all participants have a strong core understanding of how financial accounting works. Once we’ve built up this foundation, we’ll proceed to develop your analytical skills. We will use percentages and ratios to be able to quickly assess the state of a business. You’ll learn how to use a Cost Volume Profit approach (a CVP or “break even” analysis) to assess short-term decisions. Following this, we’ll turn to long-term financial decisions and how to evaluate possibilities with regards to their feasibility and potential profitability.
